The 63rd clash of the Indian Premier League 2024 fell prey to the unpredicted heavy downpour and saw a delay of more than two hours. On May 13, Gujarat Titans were set to host Kolkata Knight Riders in their last home game of the season. While KKR already made it to the qualifiers, and GT were already on the verge of getting eliminated from the season, the game wasn’t of high importance.

However, it was a great chance for Gujarat Titans to bid farewell to home fans by winning the last game in Ahmedabad. But before the match, it rained heavily in the city, forcing the officials to delay the game. While it was expected that the game would begin in a few minutes, the weather showed no mercy, and soon the clock hit 10 pm. Home fans who wanted to see the Titans play for the last time before them were left disappointed and they took to social media to express the same.

Here’s how fans reacted to the same:

In case of the game getting washed out, Gujarat would be eliminated from the season, joining the likes of Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.
