SunRisers Hyderabad who emerged as one of the deadliest teams in the current season of the IPL slumped to bottom-sitting RCB by a margin of 35 runs on April 25, Thursday. Batting first, RCB gave a target of 207 runs as Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar smashed half-centuries while Cameron Green played an unbeaten knock of 37 runs in 20 balls. In the second innings, the Orange Army lost all their batters quickly and failed to achieve the target. Shahbaz Ahmed (40*) scored the most runs for SRH followed by Abhishek Sharma (31-off-13) and Pat Cummins (31-off-15).

Rasikh Salam Dar punished for breaching IPL's Code of Conduct vs. GT

Del hi Capitals bowler Rasikh Salam Dar was punished for his over-the-top celebration against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The IPL stated, "Rasikh Salam Dar, Bowler, Delhi Capitals has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 40 of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on April 24, 2024. Dar committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct."

Delhi Capitals name Gulbadin Naib as Mitchell Marsh's replacement

Delhi Capitals have signed Afghanistan all-rounder Gulbadin Naib as a replacement for Mitchell Marsh for the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Marsh has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury and the Aussie all-rounder returned to Perth on April 12. DC signed Gulbadin Naib for his reserve price of INR 50 lakhs.

KKR's Rinku Singh reacts after receiving new bat from Virat Kohli

Rinku Singh, the star batter for Kolkata Knight Riders, looked overjoyed on camera after receiving a new bat as a gift from the former India captain, Virat Kohli. PBKS bowling coach gives big update on Shikhar Dhawan's return

The Punjab Kings captain, Shikhar Dhawan, who has been sidelined from IPL 2024 due to an injured shoulder, is expected to make his return to the tournament against Chennai Super Kings on May 1. Sunil Joshi, the PBKS bowling coach, revealed that Shikhar Dhawan’s recovery is currently on track, but he will miss the upcoming match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
