KL Rahul’s struggles are not coming to end shortly as the batter once again was the centre of criticism for his batting approach. After registering a golden duck against Pakistan, Rahul departed after scoring 36 runs off 39 balls. The batter looked shabby in his approach right from the start of the innings. He looked too defensive and rarely played an attacking shot throughout his inning. 

Although the batter tried to break free, he did not succeed and eventually perished to Mohammad Ghazanfar. Rahul edged a shortish delivery from the leg spinner into the wicketkeeper’s hands to see himself going back to the pavilion. This batting approach from Rahul did not sit too well with Twitter users as they slammed the batter saying he was selfish. 

“Kl Rahul didn’t play Test cricket in last one year so he is getting that vibe by playing test in T20I,” tweeted one user. “KL Rahul is literally not even trying to attempt any shots. This guy is selfish and shouldn’t be part of any team sport,” wrote another.
