The T20 World Cup is less than a month away. After the conclusion of IPL 2021, the festival of the T20 World Cup will begin from October 19th. All the teams have already announced their squad for the marque event and any new additions in the squad can be made till October 10. Apart from the squad, teams’ jersey for the event has also started surfacing online.

Australia, who last year revealed indigenous jersey for the T20Is, are set to don a new jersey for the T20 World Cup. The board has gone with the classic yellow theme and have also included a touch of black to make it look classy.

All-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021, was spotted wearing the new jersey most likely for a shoot. The picture was leaked online and has now gone viral.

Australia to start T20 WC campaign on October 23

Australia will begin their campaign in T20 World Cup against South Africa on October 23. The Men in Yellow will then face their arch-rival England on October 30th, followed by a match against Wes Indies on November 6.

Notably, the 5-time ODI World Cup champions have not won the T20 World Cup even once. Aaron Finch-led side will be hoping for a better show this year and will be aiming for their maiden T20 World Cup trophy.
