India have a taken a lead of 1-0 in a five-match Test with a dominant win of 295 runs in the first Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia in Perth. Now, the visitors will be looking to continue their domination in Tests down under with a win in the second day-night Test at Adelaide Oval starting on December 6. India haven’t lost a series against Australia since the last 10 years and will aim for their third consecutive Test series win down under.

In the middle-order, Shubman Gill is likely to return to the playing XI and can be seen batting at number three, followed by Virat Kohli at number four.
