The match saw Ireland putting up a spirited fight, but the Men in Blue proved too strong for the hosts and went on to win a rain-affected game by a margin of seven wickets in Malahide on Sunday. Batting first, Ireland put up a total of 108 runs for four after the rain reduced the game to 12 overs.
India, with the help of decent knocks by Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda and the skipper himself, chased the target in just 9.2 overs.

2nd T20I, India tour of Ireland, 2018: India defeated Ireland by 143 runs
A ruthless Indian team defeated their Irish counterparts to clinch the two-T20I series in 2018 as they registered a 143-run win. Batting first, India went all out and posted a massive 213 on board with the loss of four wickets. Later in the second innings, the Men in Blue bundled out their rivals at just 70 runs in 12.3 overs. The win proved to be India’s one of the biggest T20I wins. Indian batting stars KL Rahul and Suresh Raina put on another dominant display of batting with their 70 runs and 69 runs innings, respectively.

1st T20I, India tour of Ireland: India thrashed Ireland by 76 runs
India gained an early lead and set themselves up in the foreign land when they travelled to Ireland in 2018 for a two match T20I series. The Men in Blue took down Ireland by a margin of 76 runs. The game saw Indian batters destructed the opposition with their huge 208 off five runs. Openers Rohit Sharma (97 off 61 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (74 off 45 balls) helped the Indian get the hold of the game early. In return, Ireland could only come up with 132/9 despite opener James Shannon’s easy breezy 60 off 35 balls.
