Spanish tennis star Paula Badosa talked about the dream she involving her boyfriend, Stefanos Tsitsipas. The 25-year-old said that she dreamt of winning a Grand Slam with Tsitsipas. Notably, Badosa was out of Australian Open 2023 as well as the French Open 2023 due to injuries. However, she is now back in Wimbledon 2023 and has made it through to the second round.
The young couple recently made headlines thanks to the videos they posted on social media during their getaway. The former World Number 2 singles player was asked to elaborate on her relationship with Tsitsipas after her first-round win. The Spaniard then talked about the dream she had of her boyfriend and revealed that she dreamt about the duo winning the Australian Open together.
Badosa said that she watched Tsitsipas’ Australian Open 2023 defeat to Novak Djokovic. She said, “Yeah, well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course, I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match.”
She went on to say that following his defeat, she dreamt of them winning the Australian Open together. Badosa went on to say, “Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open. Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I'm not going to explain. I'm just going to leave it there,” she said, laughing.
On Wednesday, Badosa made it to the stands to watch Tsitsipas’ game’s conclusion. When he was told that Badosa had advanced too, the Greek tennis star said that the news was new to him and offered her congratulations, to which the former put her hands in the shape of a heart.
Notably, Tsitsipas has made it to two Grand Slam finals, the French Open 2023 and the Australian Open 2023. On the other hand, Badosa is yet to make it past the quarterfinals of any major tournament.
