Ahead of IPL 2022, one of the biggest questions which have been doing rounds on social media is: Who will be the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming season? Ever since the mega auction, the franchise has been dropping various hints on the same with names like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik being linked with the position.
RCB somehow managed to keep it quite mysterious and they eventually decided to make the big revelation in a unique way, by organizing a big event called 'RCB Unbox' at Museum Road, Church Street in Bengaluru on March 12.
With so many musicians, singers and fans attending the festive event, RCB finally made the much-awaited announcement, confirming that Faf du Plessis will be their captain for IPL 2022.

After RCB's announcement on Saturday, we finally have the list of all 10 captains for IPL 2022. While Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will begin their journey in the tournament under the leadership of KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya, respectively, Kolkata Knight Riders also have a new leader in form of Shreyas Iyer.
