Charith Asalanka (Player of the Match): Happy to win this game for the team. It looked like a very good pitch to bat when I walked out. So, I tried to play my shots. Rajapaksha was the game-changer. He played some wonderful shots. I want to keep this momentum on and keep winning games for my country.

Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka Captain): It's not the easiest target to chase. It's all about boundaries. Once the batsman gets set, it's easier to clear the ropes. It's important to win the first game. They batted really well. Those knocks were brilliant from Asalanka and Rajapaksa. It was a brilliant performance & the young players are stepping up at the right time & playing with confidence.
