Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan Captain): It was our plan to win the toss & bat first and put some runs on the board. But we couldn't perform well. We lost some earlier wickets. Najib played a crucial innings. Had a good partnership with him. We didn't even finish well. I think a total of about 160 would have been perfect. Our bowling is strong, but we didn't have that to total to defend. We tried our best and bowled really well in this game. The pitch wasn't offering that much. We play a lot in the UAE in general. We have played well in this tournament. We will take the positives and work on our future matches.
