Ahead of the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League, all the 6 teams were presented an opportunity to further bolster their squads on Saturday. With a few players likely to be unavailable for the tournament, a replacement draft took place followed by a supplementary draft where the teams signed a few more players to complete their respective squads for 7th edition.
There will be some players who will be partially unavailable for PSL 2022 because of various international assignments. To ensure that no teams suffer because of the situation, all the franchises were also given a chance to sign partial replacements (for some part of the season) in addition full replacements (for the whole season).
Multan Sultans were the most active sides during the draft as they secured the services of Johnson Charles and David Willey for the entire season. While Islamabad United got Musa Khan back in their side, Quetta Gladiators decided to replace Naveen-ul-Haq with Luke Wood.
