The 2022 Formula One season restarts after a two-week break as all teams move to Singapore for the 19th race. The GP before the break was in Italy at the historic Autodromo Nazionale Monza where reigning champion Max Verstappen registered his fifth-straight pole finish ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Mercedes' George Russell.
Verstappen once again started from P7 on the grid and made it into the top three by Lap 4 and took P2 off Russell a lap later. Then thanks to a virtual safety car, the Dutchman took the lead and won the race ahead of his rivals.
