The defending champions Bangladesh went on to win their second consecutive title in the U19 Asia Cup after defeating India by 59 runs in the final at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Despite getting bowled out for 198 runs while batting first, Bangladesh delivered convincing performance with the ball, and bowled India out for 139 runs, to lift the U19 Asia Cup 2024 title.
Being asked to bat first after losing the toss, Bangladesh lost three wickets for 66 runs in 18.4 overs. After that, Mohammad Shihab James and Rizan Hossain put up a partnership of 62 runs for the fourth wicket. Shihab James got out after scoring 40 runs in 67 balls, hitting three fours and a sixes, while Hossain scored 47(65) runs with three boundaries. After that, Faris Hasan scored 39(49) with three fours as Bangladesh were bowled out for 198 runs in 49.1 overs.

Talking about the bowling from the Indians, Yudhajit Guha, Chetan Sharma, and Hardik Raj took two wickets each for India, while Kiran Chormale, Karthikeya KP, and Ayush Mhatre scalped a wicket each. After that, in defence of the 198-run total, skipper Azizul Hakim Tamim of Bangladesh led from the front with match-winning figures of 3/8 in 2.2 overs, as Bangladesh demolished the Indian batting lineup in the final.
While chasing a target of 199 runs, India kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Indian skipper Mohammad Amaan turned out to be top scorer as the right-hander got out after scoring 26 runs off 65 balls with just one boundary. Hardik Raj also showed fight in the lower order with a knock of 24(21), but couldn’t take his team down the line as India were bowled out for 139 runs in 35.2 overs. Apart from Azizul Hakim Tamim's spell for Bangladesh, Md Iqbal Hasan Emon also took three wickets, to break the back of Indian middle order, while Al Fahad scalped two wickets, along with Maruf Mridha and Rizan Hossain picking up a wicket each.
