There have been several players who have represented RCB over the years in IPL since 2008, but unfortunately, few of them did not reach greater heights while they could have had a better career if they had played for CSK. 1. Sarfaraz Khan:
Sarfaraz Khan started his IPL career by playing for RCB and represented the franchise in three different seasons 2015, 2016, and 2018. After that, his career faded away despite playing for franchises like Punjab Kings (2019-21) and Delhi Capitals (2022-23) in later seasons.
Sarfaraz Khan despite scoring so much of runs in domestic cricket never got a national call-up. He has scored only 585 runs in IPL from 37 innings, but if he had got to play as a middle-order batsman under Dhoni's leadership then we could have seen a different version of him.
