Most matches as international captain
MS Dhoni took over the reigns of the Indian cricket team back in 2007, captaining them in a whopping 332 matches in all formats of the game, winning 178 of those, while there were also 120 losses, six ties, and 15 draws. When he last led Team India in 2018, he was ahead of Ricky Ponting by eight matches in the all-time international captaincy list, while Stephen Fleming is a further 21 matches behind.
