During Namibia’s tour to Oman in the summer of 2024, in preparation for the T20 World Cup, David Wiese scored a fantastic fifty off 32 balls in the fourth T20I, which included one four and four maximums at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground, setting up a competitive total in excess of 160 runs on the board. The all-rounder also picked up three valuable wickets for Namibia in defence of the runs, ensuring that they went on to level the series at 2-2 with a comfortable win.
