1. MS Dhoni

On 16th January 2020, BCCI announced their 2019-20 annual player contract for India from October 2019 to September 2020 which saw MS Dhoni being excluded from the contract surprisingly. The former Indian skipper was last seen playing for India on 10th July 2019 in the World Cup and later it was reported that he may feature in the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2020. However, due to COVID-19 the tournament got postponed and later MS Dhoni also announced his retirement from International cricket on 15th August 2020 without playing a farewell game unceremoniously.
