The Australian legendary batter Steven Smith went unsold in the IPL 2024 auction despite having a decent season with the bat in Ashes 2023 and the World Cup. Steven Smith was last seen playing for DC in IPL 2021 and he didn't register his name in the auctions during the 2023 IPL after getting unsold in the 2022 mega auctions, but he was seen in the English commentary box for the first time in the 2023 IPL edition.
