5. 235/1 vs MI in 2015
With Ab de Villiers setting the stage on fire, RCB registered one of their highest scores in IPL in a match against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on May 10, 2015. Batting first, De Villiers smashed 133*(59) runs with the help of 19 fours and four sixes as RCB posted 235/1 in their 20 overs. Skipper Virat Kohli also scored 82*(50) runs with six fours and four sixes. In reply, MI were restricted at 196/7 as RCB won the match by 39 runs.
4. 241/7 vs PBKS in 2024
Virat Kohli went wild as RCB posted their fourth highest IPL total while playing against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala on May 9, 2024. Batting first, Kohli smashed 92 runs off 47 balls, hitting seven fours and six sixes. Apart from that, Rajat Patidar (55 off 23) and Cameron Green (46 off 27) also played a crucial part as RCB posted 241/7 in their 20 overs and went on to win the match by 60 runs.
3. 248/3 vs GL in 2016
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were in beast mode and went on to smash respective centuries as RCB registered their third highest IPL total in a match against Gujarat Lions at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 14, 2016. De Villiers smashed an unbeaten 129*(52) runs, hitting 10 fours and 12 sixes, while Kohli 109(55) runs with five fours and eight sixes as RCB posted a mammoth 248/3 in their 20 overs. In reply, Gujarat were bowled out for just 104 runs as RCB won the match by a mammoth margin of 144 runs.
2. 262/7 vs SRH in 2024
Unfortunately, RCB’s second highest total in the IPL came in a losing cause against Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 15, 2024. After SRH posted the highest IPL total of 287/3, RCB also gave a tough fight with Virat Kohli (42 off 20) and Faf du Plessis (62 off 28) giving a flying start. After that, Dinesh Karthik top scored with 83(35) runs, smashing five fours and seven sixes, but he couldn’t take his team down the line as RCB could reach 262 runs after losing seven wickets in their 20 overs.
1. 263/5 vs PWI in 2013
Chris Gayle played one of the best T20 knocks as RCB posted their highest-ever total in the IPL, which was also the highest total in tournament’s history for 12 years. Gayle went on to smashed 175 runs off 66 balls hitting 13 four and 17 sixes as RCB posted a mammoth 263/5 against Pune Warriors India at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 23, 2013. In reply, Pune were restricted at 133/9 as RCB won the match by 130 runs.
