
Amid the ongoing IPL 2025, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is also coming back with its tenth season, starting on April 11. This will be the first time both the leagues will go simultaneously with each other. As many of the main players in world cricket are a part of the ongoing IPL, few players will also be a part of the upcoming PSL season.
There were many big names which went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction last year. However, some of these players are now a part of PSL franchises and will be seen in action in the upcoming season. IPL unsold players in PSL 2025
1. David Warner
One of the big names in PSL 2025 will be former Australian cricketer David Warner. Notably, Warner has great records in the IPL, where he won one title as captain and won the Orange Cap three times. However, he still went unsold in the IPL mega auction last year coming with a base price of INR 2 Crore. After that, he was signed by Karachi Kings and will be seen leading the franchise in the upcoming PSL season.

2. Rassie van der Dussen
South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen has played only IPL season for Rajasthan Royals in 2022 but couldn’t make any impact in that season. After that, he was released by the franchise and hasn’t been picked by any franchise from the last three seasons. He also remained unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction and will be seen playing for Islamabad United in PSL 2025.
3. Mohammad Nabi
Afghan pacer Mohammad Nabi was a part of Mumbai Indians in the last IPL season. However, he didn’t get a single bid in the IPL 2025 mega auction, coming with a base price of INR 1.5 Crore. Now, he is set to play for Karachi Kings in PSL 2025.
4. Sikandar Raza
Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza has played two seasons for Punjab Kings in 2023 and 2024 respectively. However, he was released by the franchise and remained unsold in the mega auction last year. Now, Raza has been picked by Lahore Qalandars for PSL 2025.
5. Alzarri Joseph
West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2024 and was a part of the Indian T20 league from the three consecutive years.However, ahead of IPL 2025, Joseph didn’t get a single bid in the mega auction. Now, he has been picked by Peshawar Zalmi ahead of PSL 2025.
