The year 2023 had sporting excellence on display in various disciplines all over the world with individual players and sports teams achieving greatness. Manchester City became the eighth club in European football to win the coveted “Treble” in the year 2023 after they got the better of Inter Milan by 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League final. A few days prior, Manchester City defeated their near-rivals Manchester United by 2-1 in the FA Cup final before securing the Premier League title by thwarting the challenge of Arsenal in the second half of the campaign.
