The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly agreed to trade the 10-time NBA All-Star James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, October 30. The sources have told Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN's NBA Insider about the latest development, from which the 76ers will get a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, among many other picks from the Clippers.

The one-time NBA MVP from 2018 hasn’t played for the Philadelphia 76ers in the ongoing season, with reports emerging that he was stopped by security from boarding the plane for the season-opening trip of the team last week. The NBA had opened an investigation in regards to James Harden’s absence from the 76ers, but he showed up on the team ’ s bench for their home opener yesterday.

Adrian Wojnarowski sent out a post about James Harden’s future in the NBA on his official X account, which read, “BREAKING: The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed on a trade to send guard James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers, sources tell ESPN.”

James Harden was reportedly set to practise with the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, October 31, with an eye on making his season debut as early as Thursday. Although, now, he is slated to head to the Los Angeles Clippers, despite the fact that there is no information about when he will play for the franchise for the first time.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN sent out another post on X, in which he reportedly said that the Clippers are going to send a 2028 unprotected first-round pick to the 76ers for the James Harden trade, in addition to other valuable picks.

It read, “The Clippers are sending the Sixers a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, two second-round picks and a pick swap, sources tell ESPN. The Clippers are also routing the 76ers an additional future first-round pick from a third team.”
