Manu Bhaker, the Indian shooting sensation, shared an emotional post on her official X account after finishing the Paris Olympics 2024 campaign with two bronze medals. The 22-year-old spoke about how winning medals at the Olympic Games is “a dream come true,” while stating that the achievement isn’t just hers but belongs to everyone.
During the 33rd Olympiad in Paris, Manu Bhaker participated in three shooting events at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre. She won a bronze medal in the women’s individual 10m air pistol event before repeating the same feat alongside Sarabjot Singh in the mixed team 10m air pistol event.
In the women’s individual 25m air pistol event, Manu Bhaker came very close to winning another medal for India earlier today. But, she ended up finishing in fifth place to end her Paris 2024 campaign with two bronze medals.

Following this, Manu Bhaker took to her official X account to write an emotional post about her journey to the Olympics and the subsequent results, which read, “I am extremely overwhelmed by the support and wishes that have been coming in. Winning 2 bronze medals is a dream come true. This achievement is not just mine but belongs to everyone who has believed in me and supported me along the way.”
Manu Bhaker also thanked everyone for being a part of her Olympic dream coming true and said, “I couldn't have done it without the unwavering support of my family, Coach Jaspal Rana sir and everyone who stood by me, including the NRAI, TOPS, SAI, OGQ, Performax & especially Haryana government. With all my well-wishers. Competing and performing at the biggest stage for my country is a moment of immense pride and joy.”
