India continued their dominance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy as they clinched the series 2-1 having won the first two Tests and drawing the fourth Test. With the start of Day 5 coming into play, it was looking that the fourth and final Test of the series might end in a draw which eventually did with India clinching the BGT for the fourth consecutive year.
With the hosts taking 91-run lead in their first innings, the Aussies came into bat on the final day. After losing Matthew Kuhnemann, number 1 Test batter Marnus Labuschagne took the field along with Travis Head. As Marnus walked into bat, a hilarious incident took place. Former skipper Virat Kohli was caught having a hilarious conversation with his teammates, which was caught on the stump mic.
Virat can be heard saying, “10-minute dur hai. Plane mein pehle he baith jaunga. Main udaunga aaj”. However, the reference of his comments is not clear, but Kohli was seen having a friendly conversation with his teammates in the middle. Video of the same is now doing rounds on social media.

With New Zealand’s win and India drawing the fourth and final Test, the hosts made their way to the World Test Championship Final which is set to take place at the Oval in June. The Rohit Sharma-led Team India will face Australia in the WTC Final, starting June 7.
