Former India star pacer Ishant Sharma’s old video about celebrating Valentine’s Day went viral on February 14. In the video, Sharma, who has been out of the Indian team for some time now, could be heard urging people to spend time with parents and family rather than going out with friends and partners on Valentine's Day. Not only this, but he also said that parents will feel good if their children choose to spend time with them.
The 35-year-old has been India’s one of the most reliable names in the bowling department for several years. Sharma is one of India’s few names to have played more than 100 Tests for the side. The Delhi-born picked 311 Test wickets with 115 ODI and 8 T20I wickets to his name in his career.

Humare mata pita do aise insana hote hai ki aap kitna bhi kharab ya acha kare wo aapse usi prem aur prabhav se milenge.” (You all celebrate 14 February Valentine’s Day with your friends, but if you celebrate it with your parents, then they will feel good. Our parents always love us, regardless of good or bad we do.”)
He added, “Mere hisab se aa ye 14 february ka din apne mata pata ke sath bitao. Unko ache gift do, khush karo. Agar aapke pas mata pita ka ashirvad hai toh aap kaafi acha kar sakte hai apni zindagi mai. (I think you should celebrate 14 February with your parents. Give them gifts and make them happy. If you have your parents’ blessings with you, you can do well in life.”)
