Jos Buttler, who leads the England cricket team on the field, dominates his rivals off the field also. The English skipper defeated his Aussie rival Glenn Maxwell in a funny ‘catch and say’ quiz, hosted by the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. Not only this, but after defeating his opponent, Buttler took it to social media to express his delight on the same.
The 33-year-old posted a video on his Instagram, where he could be seen participating in a unique game-quiz hosted by the Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma. The quiz was named ‘catch and say’, where the English-Aussie participants had to give back-to-back answers while catching the ball. The game had just one rule; the one who stops, loses.

While the Australian all-rounder tried his best to win the game, the Three Lions’ player outclassed him 2-1, eventually winning it. The Taunton-born cricketer then took to his social media to express the joy of defeating Maxwell. He took to Instagram to share the same and wrote, “Always nice to beat the Aussies.”
Notably, all three players were featured in an advertisement by a prominent travel company Booking.com. Earlier, this month, the company had announced Rohit Sharma, Glenn Maxwell and Jos Buttler as their brand ambassador. The players are a part of their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign ‘Howzat!’ For those who don’t know, the platform is the official accommodation partner for all ICC events, including the upcoming World Cup 2023.
