One of the most powerful agents in the NBA, Rich Paul had a big first day of NBA free agency as he helped three players get huge contracts worth USD 390 million. After several players signed to Klutch Sports Group agreed on a lucrative deal on Friday, James took a jibe at Paul’s critics and praised his long-time friend for the work he has been putting in.
On the open market Friday, several players signed big contracts, which include Draymond Green’s USD 100 million deal. Not only this, but Portland's Jerami Grant also signed a contract worth USD 160 million, and Houston's Fred VanVleet got a deal of USD 130 million. Post that, “The King” took it to Twitter to mock those who questioned Paul and Klutch Sports. The 38-year-old NBA Star wrote, “And y'all still wanna question is Rich Paul is the H.I.M. It says a lot about you if you not feeling us. I told him less is more it's plenty of us."
Rich Paul cracked the first deal of free agency successfully when Draymond Green got a four-year contract with Golden State Warriors, which was worth USD 100 million. Green, who had been a free agent for some time, is set to make his return to Warriors, to continue playing alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Among the lucrative deals offered on Friday, only a few were agreed to by players outside of Klutch Sports Group. The three outsiders were Kyrie Irving, who signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks for three years, worth USD 126 million, along with Kyle Kuzma, who has been signed for four years for USD 102 million and Khris Middleton, who went to Milwaukee Bucks for USD 102 million.
