When Chennai needed three runs to seal victory, former skipper MS Dhoni walked into bat for his side. F ans, waiting to catch a glimpse of ‘Thala’, erupted into loud cheers, and welcomed the ‘Captain Cool’ with ‘Dhoni-Dhoni’ chants. The noise was so deafening that Russell, stationed near the boundary had to cover his ears.
