Former Kickboxer and current social media influencer Andrew Tate got released from house arrest by a Bucharest court on August 4, Friday. Tate was charged with rape allegations, human trafficking, and forming a group to exploit women in June 2023. After being released from house arrest, Tate has been placed under judicial control for a period of 60 days, from August 4 to October 2.

Tate took to Twitter to announce the court’s judgment and said that a judge has announced the case "weak and circumstantial." Not only this, but he also added that he lost around USD 16 million on the trials. He tweeted, “After 10 months. 3 in jail, 7 at home. After 15 million euro of asset seizures. After an inditement based on nothing. The file was passed to a Judge who ruled it weak and circumstantial. I have been released from house arrest but must remain within Romania. Now. To the Mosque. Alhamdulillah.”

Tate's spokesperson confirmed that Tate has been released from house arrest but was ordered to remain in Romania as he is awaiting human trafficking and rape trial. The spokesperson added that he might travel beyond the restrictions with prior approval from the court.

Notably, Tate has repeatedly claimed that the prosecutors have no evidence against the Tate brothers, and it is nothing but a political conspiracy to silent him.
