Phoenix Suns power forward Kevin Durant responded to Fat Joe’s claims of getting attacked after dropping 82 points at the Rucker Park game. Joe spoke on the ‘Roommates’ podcast with Jalen Brunson and stated that Durant almost got attacked after a game at Rucker Park, where he scored 82 points. As the video of Joe started circulating on social media, Durant chimed in and responded to the claims.

In the video, Joe could be heard saying, “He scored like 82 points in the third quarter. He don't like me telling this story. They chased him out the Rucker like they wanted to beat him up." Resharing the clip on his social media, Durant said that the entire story was a lie and that the former MVP never felt that he was in any kind of danger.

The 35-year-old tweeted, “Another podcast lie. It was nothing but respect and love out there that night, didn’t feel unsafe for one second.” In his first full season with the Phoenix Suns, Durant averages 27.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. Coming back to Rucker Park, the basketball court is one of the top courts in the US, and Durant is one of the few names who have played there.

One of the first stars to have ever played there included Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as well as the LA Lakers legend Wilt Chamberlain. While Dyrant has been one of the most consistent scorers in the season, he has been getting good support from Bradley Beal and Devin Booker as they remain the top three scorers. They are aiming to guide the side to the Suns’ first NBA title.
