The Bollywood actress shared a picture of Virat Kohli celebrating his century along with a big red heart. The Delhi-born batter came into bat when the Men in Blue were cruising at the score of 143 and built on this momentum to put on a milestone inning.
Kohli also leveled the Master Blaster’s record of most hundreds on home soil with 20 centuries in India. Addressing centuries across formats, Kohli now has 73 tons with 45 in ODIs, 27 in Tests, and one in T20Is and is still away from Tendulkar’s near-impossible record of 100 (51 Tests and 49 ODIs) centuries.
Going back to the game, Team India was put to bat as Sri Lanka won the toss. Rohit Sharma and Shubhman Gill kicked off the innings with an express start as they put on a 143-run stand. Then as Kohli held one end, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul put up crucial knocks which helped India set a 374-run target for the Sri Lankans.
