Football great Lionel Messi got kissed by the Argentine comedian Migue Granados in a viral video doing rounds on social media. The video almost crashed the internet after the Messi ultras watched and reshared the video multiple times. Notably, in their last Premier League match against Toronto FC, the Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi played for only 37 minutes. Despite losing their skipper, Miami managed to gain a comfortable 3-0 victory against their rivals on Wednesday, September 21.

Coming back to the incident, though the intention behind the kiss and what the clip was trying to promote has been unknown, the nine-second clip has taken social media by storm. With the video, it seems that the comedian was interviewing the footballer.

In the video, Migue Granados could be seen popping up behind the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner and planting a kiss on his neck. The 2022 World Cup-winning captain smirked in anticipation and smiled at the comedian. Granados uploaded the video on his social media, along with a caption that translates into English as, "Shall we chat baby? TOMORROW 10:00 Hs #MESSIENOLGA / Come for today's Live as we spoil things."

Notably, Messi missed two Inter Miami games and played in just one of the World Cup qualifying fixtures for his national side this month. The 36-year-old has been dealing with either a right leg injury or fatigue since July 2023.
