But thanks to a 100+ run partnership by Shakib-al-Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim, the Bangla Tigers posted 193 runs. In the second innings, after a slowish Pakistani start, the umpires stopped play at the end of the fifth over. The match soon restarted in Lahore's Gadaffi Stadium after a 15-minute delay.

Coming back to the Pakistani bowling effort, speedster Haris Rauf was the top performer with a spell of 4-19 in six over. Talking about his performance, Rauf said,   "The goal is always to back each other as a bowling unit and make things easier. Lahore is a wicket where you need to bowl quick, and bowl at the stumps, that’s the only way to get wickets."
"(On the pace trio) they start really well with the new ball, and that gives me confidence, and it gives me an idea of what the wicket will do. We keep discussing things and bowl to our plans. I think the way our batters have been performing, we should be able to chase this down," Rauf continued.
