India are coming on the back of a win against Sri Lanka in their last encounter, which guaranteed them a place in the final of the season. With their defeat, they also ensured Bangladesh's exit in the finale run.

The Indian squad saw five major changes for the clash. Where names like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were benched, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Shami were named in the XI.

Speaking of the Bangladesh innings, the Bangla Tigers rode on skipper Shakib Al Hasan's 85-ball 80 and Towhid Hridoy's 54 to put a score of 265. Apart from batting, the Bangladesh bowlers also delivered classic bowling, their victory in form of Indian batters came pretty quickly.

The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma once again got dismissed on duck, while the debutant Tanzim Hasan Sakib sent him back to the pavilion. On the Indian side, Shubman Gill scored another commendable century took control of the steering when team needed it the most with Axar Patel also adding with his quickfire 42 off 34 deliveries. But all these knocks went in vain as the Bangladesh bowling attack handed India their first loss in 11 years.
