According to the latest reports, it seems that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as well as the Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) have come to a solution on Asia Cup 2023 row. If reports are to be believed, the continental tournament is said to be held in Pakistan.

The long-going tussle for the Asia Cup 2023 is expected end soon with the tournament set to be held in Pakistan. Reports further add that the Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue will play their matches at a neutral venue. ESPNcricinfo has reported that the organisers have listed UAE, Oman, Sri Lanka and England as the potential venues to host the matches of Team India in the Asia Cup. The final of these four listed venues will host five matches, including at least two India-Pakistan contests.

Meanwhile a source told ANI, “A meeting between the boards had been done a few days back and the tournament will be allowed to be held in Pakistan. India will play their matches at a neutral venue and will not travel to Pakistan, the venues where India could play their matches are likely Oman, UAE, England, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Though the decision will be decided later".

Talking about the upcoming edition, Asia Cup 2023 will be played in a 50-over format in September. India and Pakistan have been drafted in the same while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are part of another group. The top two teams from each group will then proceed to the Super 4s, from here the top two teams will lock horns in the final.
