The second quarterfinal of the men's cricket T20I, at the Asian Games 2023, between Pakistan and Hong Kong witnessed a hilarious event involving Pakistani batter Arafat Minhas. The Men in Green registered a comfortable 68-run win to clinch the semi-final Minhas had a forgettable start to his batting performance.

As Qasim Akram's men batted first, Pakistan had a decent performance as they managed to score runs while losing wickets at regular intervals. Hence after Khushdil Shah's wicket, as Arafat Minhas walked out, the left-handed batter tripped and had an embarrassing fall.

After this hilarious moment, Minhas redeemed himself with a score of 25 runs in just 16 balls with two sixes and two fours. After Minhas' wicket, Pakistan posted a 161-run total and then bundled out the Hong Kong team at a score of 92 in 18.5 overs. Khushdil Shah emerged as the top bowler for Pakistan as he had three wickets in four overs while giving away just 13 runs.

Talking about the other quarterfinal at the Asian Games, the Indian team registered a big 23-run win over Nepal. Batting first, Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed an incredible 49-ball 100. Then towards the end, Shivam Dube (25 in 19 balls) and Rinku Singh (37 in 15 balls) helped India post a massive total of 202 runs. Then in the second innings, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi combined to pick up six wickets to help India restrict Nepal at the score of 179 and register an important victory.
