Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Manchester United this summer after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League next season. Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move to Atletico Madrid and the fans are making it clear that they don't want to see Cristiano at the Metropolitano stadium.

The 37-year-old legendary forward is eyeing a transfer to a club that will be playing in the Champions League next season. Ronaldo's manager offered him to various clubs including Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Napoli and Atletico Madrid in recent times.

However, the news of Cristiano's possible move to Atletico did not go well with club's fans. Cristiano has spent nine years at Real Madrid, the city rivals of Atletico and is ready to accept a 30 per cent wage cut to join Atletico Madrid.

Here are some fans tweets:

Recently, football specialist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that the 37-year-old forward has arrived in England to meet Erik ten Hag and discuss his future with Manchester United.

The Portuguese international has helped his former teams Real Madrid and Juventus thrash Atletico Madrid on several occasions. The footballer has scored a total of four hattricks against the Spanish club in La Liga and Champions League.

However, the last meeting between CR7 and Atletico saw the Spanish club winning the Champions League round of 16 game against Manchester United in 2021.
