The Bangladesh Premier League 2025 is set to make a return, and it will be the eleventh season of Bangladesh’s top-professional T20 league. It is organised by Bangladesh Premier League (BCB), and the forthcoming season of the tournament is scheduled to begin on December 30, and come to an end on February 7, 2025. With less than ten days remaining for the league, players and coaches are gearing up to battle it out for the ultimate title of the coveted league. 

It is to be noted that the tournament was launched in 2012, and in a short period of time, the BPL has quickly become one of the most popular T20 leagues in the world. It will see a total of seven teams fighting for the ultimate glory.

BPL 2025: Schedule and Venues 

The tournament will be hosted across three major cricketing venues in Bangladesh. This list includes: 

Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka (Capacity: 26,000)

Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong (Capacity: 20,000)

Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (Capacity: 18,500)

It is to be noted that the league stage of the tournament consists of 42 fixtures. By the end of the league stage, the top 4 teams will to the playoffs, which will be followed by the top 2 teams will compete in Qualifier 1, where the winner moves directly to the final, while the loser gets another chance in Qualifier 2.

The 3rd and 4th teams will face off in the Eliminator, and the winner will play against the Qualifier 1 loser in Qualifier 2. The winner of Qualifier 2 will then meet the Qualifier 1 winner in the final.
