Bowlers: Ravichandran Ashwin, Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar and Mohit Sharma
Indian and former CSK ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was a part of CSK for many years and won several big matches along with Jadeja. In 97 games he was a part of this side, Ash scalped 90 wickets at an economy of 6.45. Ashwin is one of the smartest cricketers the team has had.
South African leg spinner Imran Tahir played for the side from 2018 to 2021, and while being a part of the side, he picked 35 wickets in 27 matches. Tahir had an economy of 7.11, with the best bowling figures of 4/12. He was a part of the winning team in 2018 and 2021 and is still regarded as one of the most lethal bowlers.
Deepak Chahar kicked off his IPL career under MS Dhoni’s captaincy at the Rising Pune Supergiants and followed Dhoni in CSK. He was bought by the team in 2018 and has played 68 games so far, scalping 71 wickets. He has an economy of 7.84 with bowling figures of 4/13.
CSK veteran Mohit Sharma played 48 matches for the five-time IPL winners and picked a total of 58 wickets from 2013 to 2019. Sharma’s best bowling figures were 4/14 with an economy of 7.81 and his career turned around under Dhoni’s captaincy. Sharma was later roped in by Gujarat Titans and helped them win their first title in their debut season itself.
