The highly anticipated BGIS 2025 is set to kick off on 25 January, featuring 64 pro teams and 1,016 teams from open qualifiers. The 64 pro teams based on the recent major tournaments will directly get the invite into the BGIS 2025 The Grind. The invited teams will compete in a total of 16 matchdays in The Grind, and all teams based on the overall standings will be seeded to BGIS 2025: Main Event. What is BGIS 2025 The Grind?
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2025 The Grind is an official qualification stage for the 64 invited teams. Krafton gives invites to the top-performing teams from their previous tournaments in this stage and based on the rankings, these teams will be seeded to various rounds in the main event.
BGIS 2025 The Grind: Dates and Format
BGIS 2025 The Grind will take place from 5 to 23 February. The 64 invited teams will be divided into four groups of 16 teams and each group will play 24 matches in respective weeks. The event features a total of four weeks:
The Grind Week 1: 5 - 8 February

The Grind Week 2: 10 - 13 February

The BGIS 2025 will take place from 25 January to 20 April 2025, featuring 64 pro teams and 1,016 teams from open qualifiers. The Grand Finals of the tournament will be held in Kolkata from 18-20 April.
