KRAFTON announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series that kicks off on November 22. The tournament is set to be a major event in the Indian esports calendar as 96 invited teams will lock horns for the title of the country’s best BGMI team. The BMPS will start with an online phase, played across maps like Erangel, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Miramar.

The tournament will be live-streamed on KRAFTON India Esports YouTube channel and streaming platform Loco. For BMPS 2023, the organisers have created a new format which will also include a new bonus point system based on the performance of each Game Week. As per the new format, the 96 teams will be divided into 12 groups, comprising 8 teams. 

The top 16 teams at the end of Week 3 will qualify for the Grand Finals.  These primary groups will be called Red and Blue and consist of 48 teams each. Further will be done with each group, ranging from Group 1 to Group 12.

28th to 30th Nov: Blue Group (Gameweek 2)

1st to 3rd Dec: Red Group (Gameweek 2)

4th to 6th Dec: Blue Group (Gameweek 3)

7th to 9th Dec: Red Group (Gameweek 3)
