Krafton has announced that their popular game Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available in India after the Indian authorities recently permitted them to resume their services in the country. As per the latest update, although it has been deemed safe, the authorities will impose some restrictions on the BGMI players and monitor the company for three months of Beta testing with regard to “user harm and addiction.”

As per the latest updates, kids under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to register for BGMI. After logging in players will need to enter OTP to access the game. They will also be limited to three hours of playtime a day. It is to be said that BGMI will reinforce that the game exists in a virtual world and it is not your real life which will be done using a Virtual World Warning Message when you launch the game every time.

There is also a spending limit in the game to prevent overspending of players. A daily spending limit of INR 7000 (USD 85) will be applied, and players will wait for their reset if they want to spend more on the game. Krafton is also looking to make the game more child-friendly as they will reduce violence, nudity, and bloodshed. The company will also take efforts to moderate the language used in the game.

The game BGMI will send Breaktime Reminders to ensure players do not lose track of time and keep playing the game. The servers are currently not available because of the implementation of the changes. However, Krafton is yet to announce the return date of the game but it is expected to be announced in the coming days.
