Esports is rapidly growing in India, and Bihar has been a key supporter with initiatives like the State Esports, Open Esports Championship, and Bihar Divisional Esports Championship. Now, Bihar is taking it a step further by introducing esports in schools with the announcement of the first-ever Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024, set to begin on October 1. The Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024 will feature four esports titles, including Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), FC24, Chess.com, and Real Cricket 24. The competition is divided into two phases: Online Qualification Round and State Level Finals.

Online Qualification Round - The top 16 teams/players from each game will qualify for the state-level finals.

State Level Finals - The State Level Finals will be a LAN event at Patliputra Sports Complex. 

Minimum age requirements to participate

  • BGMI - 16+ years 
  • Chess, FC24, and Real Cricket - 12+ years

Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024 Timeline 

  • Registration Deadline - 28th September 2024 
  • Online Qualifications - 1st to 10th October 2024
  • State Level Finals - 29th - 30th October 2024

How to register for Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024?

Follow the below steps to register for the inaugural Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024 -

  • Step 1: Download the UNIV app from the Google Play Store or App Store 
  • Step 2: Sign up on the UNIV app using your email ID and mobile number 
  • Step 3: Select the Esports title under the Esports category 
  • Step 4: Select Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024 from the list of tournaments.
  • Step 5: Under the registration tab, click on register to fill out the registration form and submit 

Gamers need to understand that to participate in team events, all members of the squad should be from the same school.

Prize and Rewards 

All participants in the Bihar Inter School Esports Championship 2024 will receive certificates from the Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA). Podium finishers will be awarded medals and cash prizes. Check out the prize distribution details below.
