Indian opening batter Prithvi Shaw shared an Instagram story to wish his rumoured girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia on her birthday. Shaw was once seen as the next big thing in cricket who couldn't do justice to the numerous opportunities he was given at the international stage. Things got worse for him when he found himself into unnecessary controversies. Even at the IPL stage, he couldn’t manage to deliver consistent performances, and it would be interesting to see whether the Delhi Capitals batter retains him or not in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Shaw once again grabbed headlines when he took to social media to wish his rumoured girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia on her birthday. The cricketer shared a picture of him with Tapadia and sent her best wishes while thanking her for being a part of his life. He accompanied the picture with the caption, “Happy Birthday JUI. Thank you for being a constant support. Blessed to have you.”

Former India opener Aakash Chopra recently spoke about Prithvi Shaw’s absence from the Indian Test team. Shaw has been time and again making headlines, but all because of wrong reasons. The DC batter has failed to prove himself in the Indian team as well as Indian Premier League. The then-head coach Ricky Ponting admitted that not getting the best out of Shaw during his tenure with the franchise was one of his regrets.
Chopra recently said, “Shaw should blame himself, as reputation does make a difference in what people think about you. The performance was not up to the mark, and you feel for him because he is a talented boy.” He added, “Prithvi Shaw is destroying in England. I saw his matches. However, he will have to wait for his chances, as even Ruturaj Gaikwad is not getting an opportunity in the Indian team, so how will it change for Prithvi?”
