The highly anticipated BGMI Pro Series (BMPS 2024), is scheduled to start on August 20, just a week after the ongoing BGMS Season 3 LAN finals conclude in New Delhi. This prestigious tournam ent will showcase some of the top BGMI teams from across India competing for the whopping prize of INR 2 Crore.

BMPS 2024 Start Date and Grand Finals Venue 


BMPS 2024 will kick off on August 20th and will run until September 29th. The grand finals will be an offline LAN event in Kochi, India. The tournament will be played in two stages: invited teams will compete in the online stage, starting a week after BMPS Season 3, and the top 16 teams will advance to the finals, taking place from September 26.

According to rumors, teams have already received invitations for the tournament, with nearly 100 teams expected to compete in the online stage. For the first time, top-performing teams from third-party tournaments might also receive invitations to the event.

Rumors suggest that some teams from Trident Scrims, organized by renowned BGMI player and coach Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare, have received invitations for the online stage. While Krafton has not made an official announcement, aspiring teams have a good chance to compete in the scrims for a spot in BMPS. 

BMPS 2024 Invited Teams

BMPS 2024 will showcase some of India’s top-tier teams, including GodLike Esports, Team Soul, MOGO Esports, Team XSpark, Global Esports, Gods Reign, and more. Most of the teams will be selected from the top performers of BGIS 2024, such as Reckoning Esports, Team Limra, Team Tamilas, Team 8Bit, Raven Esports, Vasista Esports, and others. Additionally, top-performing teams from third-party events might also compete.

This will be the third edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series. The first edition was entirely played online, while the second edition was a major event held in an open stadium in Gujarat.

About BMPS 2023 


BMPS 2023 was a historic event for BGMI, held in a large open stadium with a capacity of 8,000 attendees. The tournament was a significant milestone for Indian esports, with Blind Esports emerging as the champions at Eka Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.


The event featured a prize pool of ₹10,000,000 and saw 96 invited teams compete in a long format. Blind Esports dominated the event, while Gladiators finished as runners-up, and Team iNSANE, led by Aadi, secured third place. Spower was named MVP of the tournament, while Aadi received the Best IGL award. Spower earned $3,612.63, and Aadi was awarded $2,408.42.


Krafton’s efforts to bring esports to every city in India began with Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and now Kochi. Fans of BGMI from every state now have the chance to watch their favorite players perform live in front of them. Krafton is yet to provide details about the schedule, format, and number of teams.
