Pakistan suffered a crushing 63-run defeat in the third T20I against England, who posted a massive 221 runs in the first innings. But before the start of this fixture, an endearing moment was seen as a girl was spotted displaying a banner where she proposed to the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam in front of the jampacked National Stadium in Karachi.

Her banner read, “Can we collaborate for a long-term partnership?”. While talking to the girl, she expressed that her mother was looking for grooms to marry her and hence she was fed up. The girl then expressed that if Babar Azam noticed the banner, her mother would be very happy.

Talking about the game, England had a great start despite losing Phil Salt early as they were cruising at 82-3 in 8.3 overs when Will Jacks was dismissed. Then came Harry Brook, who along with Ben Duckett posted a massive 139-run partnership to take the England total over 200. Duckett put up an impressive 70 off 42 balls, but the star of the innings was Brook who smashed the Pakistan bowlers for 81 in 35 balls with eight fours and five sixes.

In the second innings, the Men in Green failed to replicate their incredible batting form from the previous fixture as they were restricted to a score of 158 at the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Shan Masood was the stand-out performer from the innings as he scored 66 in 40 balls. Masood along with Khushdil Shah and Mohammad Nawaz were the only batters who scored in double digits. Now, the seven-game T20I series is tilted in England’s favour as they hold a 2-1 lead.
