As per the report from Sportskeeda, WWE fans managed to notice when the alleged right triceps injury to CM Punk must have happened during the men’s Royal Rumble match. According to the screenshots shared by one of the fans from the live broadcast, CM Punk didn’t take the Future Shock DDT adequately move from Drew McIntyre, landing awkwardly on his right arm.

Moments later, the Second City Saviour moved to the ringside corner, which led to multiple referees officiating the men’s Royal Rumble match to take stock of the situation. One of the foremost women’s referees in WWE, Jessica Carr was seemingly more concerned than anyone about the well-being of CM Punk.

But, despite the alleged injury, CM Punk managed to finish the match, taking Cody Rhodes to his absolute limit before getting eliminated last. While he was seen clutching his elbow after losing the fight, the American Nightmare celebrated his second straight victory in the men’s Royal Rumble match.

CM Punk has already stated his intention to mainevent WrestleMania after returning to WWE in November last year, and hopefully, the alleged injury isn’t going to stop him from finishing his story this April.
