Before his recent IPL appearance for Mumbai Indians against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur, the recent episode of the Club Prairie Fire podcast involving Rohit Sharma was released on YouTube. I have got a lot of time on my hands these days: Rohit Sharma
“I have got a lot of time on my hands these days. Just spending a lot of time with my family. Staying at home actually. Last four games we (Mumbai Indians) played in Mumbai (at the Wankhede Stadium), I was at home. And just going an hour before we get together as a team for a little team meeting. So it’s been good, a little different but it’s been good,” Rohit Sharma detailed his routine during MI home game in the IPL 2024.
Moreover, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Rohit Sharma scored 36 off 25 against Punjab Kings, stitching together a second wicket stand of 81 runs with Suryakumar Yadav, to set up the good platform for MI to score 192/7 in their allotted overs. PBKS batters delivered a spirited performance in front of their home fans in the run chase, after getting reduced to 14/4, but they ended up on the losing side by nine runs.
