The sequel of the ever-popular first-person Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Counter Strike 2.0 got released on September 28, Thursday. The updated version of the popular game comes with several updates, latest features and renewed game modes. The eSport game was in development for quite some years, and with its release, the developers finally ended the long wait of CS’ followers.
Speaking of the latest update, it comes with a revamped engine that offers improved graphics, new maps and updated games. If we talk about the most notable features of the game, it is its new Source 2 engine. The feature that makes the new engine different from the one in its predecessor is that it comes with improved graphics, performances and analysis.
If we have a look at the maps of CS 2.0, some of them are based on Counter Strike maps, including Dust 2 and Inferno. Not only this, some of the new weapons that the sequel comes with are based on real-world weapons, including M4A1-S and the AK-47. A few other weapons are the fictional-world tools including Railgun and the Plasma Rifle.
The sequel of the ever-classic game comes with many game modes as well, in the likes of Wingman and Danger Zone. The game is available to play on computer sets for free, and the fans can download it from Steam.
