Portuguese football great Cristiano Ronaldo met a fan from his country who lost both his parents in an explosion. The fan, named Francisco, spent two weeks in coma after losing his family tragically in an explosion. The young kid who is a huge fan of Ronaldo was given an opportunity to meet the football icon with support from social media influencers Zachery Dereniowski and IShowSpeed.
Notably, on June 26, 2024, Francisco lost his mother, sister and father in a devastating explosion that occurred at his home. The kid was in coma for more than a week and returned home to live with his aunt. Zachery Dereniowski, who is known for his philanthropic efforts, teamed up with IShowSpeed to not only help him meet his idol but also raise a generous sum for his aid.

Ronaldo along with his superfan and popular YouTuber IShowSpeed teamed up to raise a generous sum of $100K for the young fan. Dereniowski shared some clips on his social media, where the kid could be heard sharing his story about how he lost his family in the explosion. After he revealed that Ronaldo is his most favourite athlete, the influencer showed him a video where Speed revealed to him that he was going to meet Ronaldo.
The video message showcased Speed revealing that the kid would meet Ronaldo and the entire Portuguese team. He said, “It’s Speed here. I’m sorry for your loss man, and I heard about your story Francisco. You are a strong kid. But I have a surprise for you, Francisco, you will be meeting Ronaldo.”
In a video shared by Dereniowski, he explained how he had met up with the orphaned kid and got to know about his heartbreaking story. The influencer also gave the kid a $100K before revealing that he had crowdfunded for his future.
